Mechanical activation of all powder mixtures (Molybdenite: Graphite: Magnesium oxide =1:2:2) was performed in argon atmosphere for different time periods (0-50 hours), using a planetary ball mill. Phase changes in the powder mixtures were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The Results showed that no reaction occurred in the mill to produce new phases in the mixtures. Observations indicated that Carbothermic reduction of Molybdenite in the presence of Magnesium oxide was formed as easily as possible and goes on by formation of intermediate phases such as Molybdenum Oxide (MoO2) and Magnesium Molybdate (MgMoO4). The effects of Mechanical activation on the reduction of different samples were thoroughly investigated by simultaneous Thermal Analysis (STA). The samples were heated in argon atmosphere with the linear heating rates of 10, 15, 20 ºC/min. the plots of process conversion degrees showed that the reaction temperature in the reduction reaction starting temperature is strongly affected by the amount of mechanical activation. So that by doing 50 hours of milling, the temperature of the starting of reduction reaction was decreased by about 170 ºC. Kinetics reduction of powder mixtures was studied by model- fitting (Coats-Redfern) and model-free (Ozawa and Friedman) methods the dominating Model over the reaction was the chemical control at the intersection and the amount of activation energy and pre-exponential factor was determined to be about 251 kJ.mol-1 and 1×106 Sec-1.}, keywords = {Mechanical Activation",Kinetic",Molybdenite",Magnesium Oxde"}, title_fa = {اثر فعالسازی مکانیکی بر احیای کربوترمی مولیبدنیت درحضور اکسید منیزیم}, abstract_fa = {در این پژوهش، اثر فعالسازی مکانیکی بر سینتیک احیای کربوترمی مولیبدنیت در حضور اکسیدمنیزیم مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. فعالسازی مکانیکی کلیه مخلوط های پودری(مخلوط مولیبدنیت،کربن و اکسیدمنیزیم به ترتیب با نسبت مولی 2:2:1 )، در یک آسیاب گلوله ای، در محیط گاز خنثی آرگون و برای مدت زمان‌های 10 تا50 ساعت، صورت گرفت. نتایج حاصل از آزمون پراش پرتو ایکس(XRD) کلیه نمونه‌ها، نشان داد که در حین فعالسازی مکانیکی، هیچ واکنشی در محفظه آسیاب انجام نشده است. بررسی ها نشان داد احیای کربوترمی مولیبدنیت در حضور اکسید منیزیم به راحتی امکان پذیر بوده و با تشکیل فازهای میانی نظیر اکسید مولیبدن (MoO2) و مولیبدات منیزیم (MgMoO4) پیش می رود. اثر فعالسازی مکانیکی بر رفتار احیایی نمونه های مختلف با استفاده از آزمون آنالیز حرارتی (STA)، بررسی گردید. نمونه ها در اتمسفر آرگون و با سرعت های گرم شدن10،15و20 درجه بر دقیقه، حرارت داده شدند. منحنی های کسر انجام واکنش بر حسب دما نشان داد که دمای شروع واکنش احیا به شدت تحت تأثیر میزان فعالسازی مکانیکی است. به طوری که با انجام 50 ساعت آسیابکاری، دمای شروع واکنش احیا، حدود ºC190 کاهش یافته است. سینتیک احیای مخلوط های پودری با استفاده از روش برازش مدل کوتز- ردفرن و روش‌های بدون مدل اوزاوا و فریدمن مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. مدل حاکم بر واکنش، مدل کنترل شیمیایی در فصل مشترک و مقدار انرژی اکتیواسیون و ضریب پیش نمایی آن به ترتیب در حدود kJ/mol 251 وsec-1 106 تعیین شد.}, keywords_fa = {فعالسازی مکانیکی",سینتیک",مولیبدنیت",اکسیدمنیزیم"}, url = {https://www.metalleng.ir/article_27391.html}, eprint = {https://www.metalleng.ir/article_27391_980a7a91d53df01de2f0bb1c0b042990.pdf} }
